Terms of Service
Effective date: 9 October 2026
These terms apply to Open Social at social.jengk.dev, including its dashboard, API, CLI, and MCP integration. Open Social is a service for connecting social accounts and publishing content that you authorize.
Development service
Open Social is in early development. Features can change or be unavailable. A connected platform can reject, delay, or restrict a post. Keep your own copy of important content and check the final publication status.
Your account and access
Use accurate account details. Keep passwords, API keys, app passwords, and agent credentials secure. Connect only accounts that you own or have permission to manage. You are responsible for actions that you authorize through your account, keys, scripts, and agents.
Your content
You keep ownership of your content. You give Open Social permission to store, process, and send it to the platforms and webhook destinations that you select, only as needed to provide the requested service. You must have the rights and consent needed to publish that content.
Permitted use
- Follow applicable laws and each connected platform's rules, including its age requirements.
- Do not publish unlawful content, impersonate others, send spam, or infringe privacy or intellectual property rights.
- Do not bypass platform reviews, rate limits, account restrictions, or security controls.
- Review account, content, audience, and privacy settings before you authorize publication.
Connected platforms
Open Social is independent of TikTok, Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Bluesky. Their services, permissions, and availability are controlled by those providers. Connecting an account does not guarantee approval for public posting.
Open Social uses YouTube API Services. If you use the YouTube integration, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google processes data under the Google Privacy Policy.
Privacy and ending access
The Privacy Policy explains data use. You can disconnect social accounts and revoke API keys in the dashboard. You can also revoke authorization in the connected platform's settings. See data deletion instructions to request removal of stored data. Disconnecting does not remove posts already published on another platform.
Availability and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the development service is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, successful publication, or suitability for a particular purpose. Open Social is not responsible for failures caused by connected platforms or content and actions that you authorize. These terms do not exclude rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes and contact
Changes to these terms will be published on this page with an updated effective date. For questions, use the contact details in the Privacy Policy.
